The first annual Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure and the Environment (ESSIE) Career Fair is Wednesday, January 25 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM in the Touchdown Terrace (North end zone of Ben Hill Griffin stadium).
This event will be the evening of the UF Career Resource Center’s Career Showcase event on the 25th during the day. The companies are aware that the students who will be attending the event are not necessarily graduating, but may be looking for internships, resume review or just networking opportunities to build relationships for the future! It doesn’t matter if you are a first term freshman or a final term PhD student, everyone can take something away with them from this event.
We will be providing light appetizers and beverages (of course until it runs out) and we hope that you will join us. Dress for the event is business casual (khakis and polo shirt or nice dress shirt) to business formal (a suit or nice dress). Please do not enter the event in jeans/shorts or t-shirts as you will be turned away at the door.

EES/CCE Career Forum
Happy New Year, everyone, and happy new semester! I hope everyone is ready to be back, and I hope everyone is ready for what SEE has in store for this semester!
Our first big event is January 25, so save the date. That Wednesday is the Technical Day of Career Showcase, and in the evening, there will be a Environmental/Civil Career Forum. This is very similar to the Environmental Career Forum that has happened in past years in March, but this year we are teaming up with the Civil department. It's going to be start at 6pm in Touchdown Terrace, and this is really a great setting for more personal interaction with recruiters from companies that are important to us. I hope to see you there!
