Free FE Exam Reviews

For everyone who is taking the upcoming FE exam in October, the following review sessions have been planned by the Society of Environmental Engineers (SEE) in coordination with the Department of Environmental Engineering Sciences:

* Tuesday Oct. 12, 4:00-5:30pm
Dr. Wu: Air Pollution

* Thursday Oct. 14, 4:00-5:30pm
Dr. Annable: Geohydrology and Remediation

* Tuesday Oct. 19, 4:00-5:30pm
Dr. Chadik: Chemistry, Water and Wastewater Treatment

* Tuesday Oct. 26, 4:00-5:30pm
Dr. Properzio: Hazardous Waste Eng. Industrial and Occupational Health and Safety, Radiological Health and Safety, Radioactive Waste Management

These sessions will all be held in NEB 386. In addition, Dr. Sansalone is expected to cover Hydrology and Cont. transport. Please stay posted for more information and contact Elaine Tolon, FE Review Coordinator for SEE, with any questions at

FE Exam Dates

EES Students: Did you know the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (F.E.) is a graduation requirement for all environmental engineering majors at UF? The EES department advises students to take this exam in their final semester at UF.

The F.E. exam is typically offered twice per year-- in April and again in October. The next test dates are:
10/30/10, 04/09/11, 10/29/11, 04/14/12, and 10/27/12. You should note that the application to take this test must be submitted several months prior to the test date. For more information, visit: http://www.ncees.org/Exams/FE_exam.php or consult your departmental advisor.
