Get Involved with SEE this February!

Organic Garden Work Day - Saturday, Feb. 5th @ 9:00am
SEE will participate in our second organic garden work day of the semester on Saturday, Feb. 5th from 9-11am. If you have been wanting to get involved with the garden, this is the event to attend. Wear clothes and shoes you can get dirty. SEE members planted seeds about a month ago and we are now starting to see sprouts of spinach, lettuce, and carrots in one of our garden beds. We will likely be able to plant another bed this weekend. The garden is on SW 23rd Terrace between Archer and Williston Roads. For directions and information regarding the co-op, visit: http://sites.google.com/site/uforganicgardens.

Environmental Career Forum - Wednesday, Feb. 23rd @ 6:30pm
Join AWMA, AWRA, AWWA, FWEA, and SEE at the annual UF Environmental Career Forum (ECF) on Wednesday, Feb. 23rd in the Rion Ballroom (located in the Reitz Union). The ECF is a great recruiting event for companies and agencies, as well as a relaxed opportunity for students to meet, eat with, and learn from professionals in the environmental field. Dress is business casual. If you are interested in employment or internship opportunities, send your resume to Wes Oehmig at woehmig@ufl.edu by February 18th, so it can be included in a resume CD that will be distributed to all attending companies. If you have any questions, please contact Erin White at erinw@ufl.edu or Elaine Tolon at etolon@ufl.edu.

Jill Heinerth Presentation / Unified Meeting - Thursday, Feb. 24th @ 7:00pm
