- To offer services to the needs of the Department of Environmental Engineering Sciences, its faculty and students, and the College of Engineering.
- To promote mutually beneficial student/teacher interaction and to recognize an outstanding faculty member each year with the McCreary Award.
- To provide social activities for our members.
- To sponsor and promote intramural and intradepartmental athletics.
- To participate and promote participation in activities of the Benton Engineering Council and the College of Engineering (e.g. Engineering Fair).
